Here are some examples of our Marley Board, soffits, fascias and guttering projects:

Cock Clarks, Maldon.

Here we Installed Marley Eternit facia board all matching aluminium trims. The aluminium trim is more expensive but is well worth the investment.

When we visited the customer to spec out the work, she told us that she was also looking for some double glazing work to be done. So we sent in our associate company, Essex Trade Windows, to sort this requirement. They installed a set of double glazed windows and a front door. We co-ordinated the installation and the customer was very happy dealing with just one overall supplier.

Chelmsford, Essex

For this project, the customer had ordered Marley Eternit fascia boarding ready painted at the factory in Burnt Red.

We applied all treated batons on the porch and extension. We then installed Moisture Guard, a strong, breathable felt. This allows air circulation to keep everything dry and avoids condensation, in a similar way to cavity wall air bricks. Then finally we installed the Marley Eternit cladding.

Marley Eternit is now proving to be an extremely popular external cladding. Wooden cladding can deteriorate over time and needs regular maintenance. Plastic can discolour and warp in the sun. Eternit cladding is strong, resilient in the sun and requires no maintenance.

Howe Green, Chelmsford.

These were the steps of this project:

  1. Removed all hanging pan tiles.
  2. Cut down centre of the two properties with an angle grinder.
  3. Removed all old batons.
  4. Installed new, treated batons.
  5. Applied new, breathable, Moisture Guard felt.
  6. Applied new colour matched Marley Eternit aluminium trim.
  7. installed new Marley Eternit weatherboarding, colour matched in Grey Green.

This project presented us with a challenge. There is a conservatory on the back of the house.

To deal with this safely we removed and carried down each old tile individually and we boarded out the house roof to ensure no tiles damaged the roof of the conservatory.

Bromley Kent.

For this project we worked on a new ground floor extension to a three storey town house. We had replaced fascias and soffits couple of years earlier.

Our associate company, Essex Trade Windows, installed a new front door, windows and rear bi fold doors. Working with ETW, we matched the Marley Eternit boards with the door colour.

This was the process for the Marley Eternit cladding.

  1. Removal of existing wood from front and rear f property along the old roof line and cladding.
  2. Applied new felt along the roofline.
  3. Installed over fascia vents on all fascia boards where required.
  4. Installed new Upvc fascia to the building with new soffit to match.
  5. Fitted new guttering, including down pipes, to customer specification.
  6. Fitted all new batons & breathable felt to front & rear
  7. Applied Eternit weather boarding with colour matched Marley Eternit aluminium trim.
  8. Clean up the area, leave as found and remove all rubbish.

Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood

For this installation, the gas feed to boiler, water drain from boiler and main electrics to the kitchen all run along one external face of the building. It would have been very expensive for a plumber and electrician to move them.

We cladded over these utilities, with the weatherboard covering the unsightly combination.

Here we installed grey Marley Board under the bay windows and between the first floor windows. We also installed new fascias, soffits and gutters. The overhang roof had sagged, as the original builder had left it out of line. We realigned it and added down lights above the bay windows for a pleasing effect.

W applied new fascia, soffits , guttering and downpipes to the entire building. We also installed Marleyboard cladding to top half of the house, on all elevations.

Guithavon Rd, Witham, Essex

Here we removed all existing soffits, fascias and guttering to the entire house, low level extension & shed. We replaced with black ash upvc fascias and white soffits to match.WeInstalled all new black round gutters & downpipes to customer’s specification.
