Cock Clarks, Maldon.
Here we Installed Marley Eternit facia board all with matching aluminium trims. The aluminium trim is more expensive but is well worth the investment.
When we visited the customer to discuss and price-up the work, she told us that she was also looking for some double glazing work to be done too so we sent in our associate company, Essex Trade Windows, to sort this requirement. They installed a set of double glazed windows and a front door. We co-ordinated the installation and the customer was very happy dealing with just one overall supplier.
Howe Green, Chelmsford
These were the steps of this project:

Removed all hanging pan tiles.

Cut down centre of the two properties with an angle grinder.

Removed all old batons.

Installed new, treated battens.

Applied new, breathable, Moisture Guard felt.

Applied new colour matched Marley Eternit aluminium trim.

Installed new Marley Eternit weatherboarding, colour matched in Grey Green.
This project presented us with a challenge. There is a conservatory on the back of the house.
To deal with this safely we removed and carried down each old tile individually and we boarded out the house roof to ensure no tiles damaged the roof of the conservatory.

Our associate company, Essex Trade Windows, installed a new front door, windows and rear bi-fold doors. Working with ETW, we matched the Marley Eternit boards with the door colour.
This was the process for the Marley Eternit cladding.

Removal of existing wood from front and rear of the property along the old roof line and cladding.

Applied new felt along the roofline.

Installed over fascia vents on all fascia boards where required.

Installed new Upvc fascia to the building with new soffit to match.

Fitted new guttering, including down pipes, to customer specification.

Clean up the area, leave as found and remove all rubbish.
Writtle, Chelmsford
To keep squirrels out the roof space, the client’s roof had been made airtight. But when the client went into his loft for his Christmas tree he found he had a wet roof. This was due to the lack of air circulation in the space.
We were called in to remedy the situation – Urgently!
We erected the scaffold on the 23rd of December, and fitted six custom made vented roof tiles.
The scaffold was removed at the end of day, making this a one-day job. The problem was solved and the delighted client enjoyed a worry free Christmas.
